"Great Stay - watch all inclusive pricing"
This was a great stay. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The service staff does a stellar job insuring that your stay is the best that you have experienced. They had "rain" water issue during our stay and they made it an non-event. The only negative that I can report is when i got home, the price we ere quoted for the all inclusive was about $20 more than we were because of the way they handled the currency conversion (quoted $480 in US dollars - converted to Pesos at at crappy conversion rate for checkout then submitted as a credit card charge in Pesos to be converted to US dollars at the current rate - $416,80).

I am a million-miles traveler and do a lot of travel within the Americas an Europe...there is no better service than Mexico and especially, the Fiesta Americana family...I bought time share there 14 years ago and has been the best investment. The hotel every year is in better shape, lots of improvements (despite some hard storms and hurricanes, they come back even better). In particular I want to recognize the excellent staff at La Peninsula ( by night) staff under the outstanding management of Roberto Montes (former Penisula Restaurant Manager and promoted to Hotel’s Special Events Manager). In 3 years straight, he has always made us feel very special! It was my 50 th birthday and we went to a special dinner with my friends (famous Mexican soccer player) and we were truly pampered! We had a special dinner prepared by: Roberto Montes - planning Chef Carlos Captain Anahi Rigoberto and Ruben - waiters Hostess - Dennis Muchas gracias mis amigos! The hotel General Manager has to be very happy to have such a outstanding staff ...I hope you compensate them accordingly!
The service, pools, food, rooms, and ocean view were just excellent. The Italian restaurant was especially nice, and i highly recommend the Mexican coffee - it was entertaining and delicious. Jaime was very skilled at his presentation, and service went above and beyond all expectations.
First and foremost I wanna thank Edurado Solchaga (receptionist manager front-desk) for the excellent customer service we received at the resort for the 4x in the roll. He went above and beyond on making sure we were taking care of from the time we checked in through out our stay and from the time we checked out!!! He made our trip more memorable.. Thank you Eduardo Solchaga, you are the reason why the Rubio's keep coming back to stay at Grand Fiesta American Los Cabos Resort. Our room was very very nice and cozy.. we won't visit any other hotel in Cabos if it isn't Grand Fiesta American Los Cabos Resort.. To our house keeper Rosita thank you for keeping our room nice and cleaned daily through out our stay.. She made sure we had cleaned towels,the bed was made very nice and comfortable.She also decorated our bed with pretty flowers, made sure we had everything we needed in our room. We had valuable stuff laying around the room that I forgot to put in the lockbox on our way out to the pool. When we got back to the room, I noticed my valuables were put away in a drawer... the trust and loyalty made me happy from Rosa knowing that nothing was taken from the room. She also called the mini bar to stock up our fridge with beverages..so we didnt have to call front desk for service when we return to our room. The service we received from Rosa was top notch. She's a hard working lady. I would like to have her again when I return to this resort.... Gracias Rosita que dios te cuide.... Los vemos el próximo año. To Andres Torres the bartender at the Mojito Bar made my cucumber margaritas and a virgin pina colada for my daughter very refreshing.. Thank you Andres Torres for keeping our drinks tasting so good. To Jesus Mallan the waiter at the Bikini Bar pool he went above and beyond to take care me and my family. The Bikini Bar pool was under construction at the time of our visit, so instead of us getting in and out of the pool to get our food and drinks. He told me "no Senora you enjoy the pool I will service you and your family"..... he called my husband his amigo.. Lol that was nice, however he kept our drinks and food coming without requesting for service. Mr. Rubio (My husband) was very happy with top notch service from Jesus, Thank you Jesus for taking care of us. Los vemos el próximo año. To Israel now this guy is the man. I was relaxing on the beach without a cocktail on my hand but bottles of water iced up in a bucket. Lol by the way that was my fault.. Israel was our waiter in 2015 and loved the way he took care of me and my family around the pool area. He remembered me from that year and said. Benvenito Senora Rubio is there anything I can bring you. Omg thank you Israel I'm so glad you're back. Lol keep my drinks coming please. This guy bust his tail to service me on the beach with anything I wanted from the bar. THANK ISRAEL Los vemos el próximo año. To the waiters Francisco, Eduardo, Saul, Selena and Chef Daniel for great service at the restaurant Blu. Food and drinks tasted good. Chef Daniel brought the new entree their planning to put on the menu to our table for a first taste and it was delicious!!! Our first time eating at this restaurant and we will come back to eat there again. Loved the steak tacos the meat was cooked nice and tender and can't forget the shrimp cocktail in a roll... OMG!! out of this world never had a shrimp cocktail like this ever in my life... For dessert try La paleta de Sandia.. so refreshing. Overall, the food is great here.. Thank you to everyone at Blu who took care of us.. Gracias amigo Los vemos el próximo año. Last but not least, I want to thank Capiton Anahi waiter Roberto, Hostess Dennis and to the top Chef Juan Carlos for arranging our 20th Anniversary dinner on the beach. The food was great, all of our entrees were introduced by our chef and cooked with perfection. We were treated like royalty at Restaurant Peninsula.(By night) Mucho gracias to everyone for making this dinner more memorable for me and my family.. Gracias amigo Los vemos el próximo año. I've been visiting this resort 4x in roll and I tell you this place is our vacation spots we ever visited. We love the location knowing its only 15 mins away from downtown by car, all the restaurants on the resort is beyond exceptional.. it's hands down the best resort food/cocktails we have ever had. 6 big pools on the resort,which we liked alot. The hospitality with kindness and customer service we get from the whole staff at the resort is TOP NOTCH!!! I won't stay any where else in Cabos but here. We love the ocean Mr. Rubio and our daughter enjoys snorkeling with the fishes. So five stars on their little Aquarium.. being here feels like Paradise.. if you like staying close to the ocean relaxing on a private resort this is the place you want to be at. If you're in Cabo San Lucas please give Grand Fiesta Americana inclusive resort a try. Its worth every penny, I guarantee you will not regret it.. This is the Rubio's 2nd home from home. Los vemos el próximo año Mi Gente... Los quiero mucho..❤
"Lots of issues"
There is only ac in the rooms and one restaurant. We had to switch rooms for broken ac and had to call three times for no hot water in room. And the pool water is warm. Can't hardly get in the ocean. There was a black flag everyday.
